Visa for CERN - ITER - UNESCO

In order to work in France, International Organization employers and civil servants require a visa delivered by the French Embassy. This visa enables the applicant to be delivered a resident card of a special kind, with the mention "PRO-MAE". This visa is valid for France only.

No visa can be delivered if the applicant is already in France. Personnal appearance is compulsory.

You have to apply with the French Consulate in Houston, only if you study or reside in one of the following states : Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

IN ORDER TO IMPROVE OUR SERVICES, IT IS MANDATORY TO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT ON LINE TO GET A VISA. NO APPOINTMENT WILL BE GIVEN BY PHONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

IMPORTANT : you have to apply with the originals + ONE COPY of each document. This consulate does not make any copies.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Original passport or travel document (+ ONE COPY of the identity pages). Your passport must have been issued less than 10 years ago, be valid for at least three months after your return to the US and have at least 2 blank visas pages left.

- 2 long stay application forms
