Ambassador of France to the United States visits Dallas October 24 & 25, 2016
Gérard Araud, Ambassador of France to the United States will come on an official visit to Dallas for the first time on October 24 and 25.
On the first day he will visit the aviation facilities of Airbus Hélicoptères, Safran et Turbomeca companies. He will then discover the cultural riches of Dallas museums: JFK Museum, le Dallas Museum of Art and le Nasher Sculpture Center. In the evening, Mr. Araud will meet local figures from the business, political and cultural communities.
On October 25, , Ambassador Araud will meet with CEOs of American companies before heading to the Dallas Morning news for an Editorial board Meeting. He is the guest speaker at a luncheon & conference organized by the World Affairs Council of Dallas/ Fort Worth in partnership with French-American Chamber of Commerce - Dallas/Fort Worth and SMU. The topic of his speech is : "“French foreign policy in an unstable world “.

Ambassador Araud will then go to the UT Dallas to visit the laboratory for surface and nanostructure modification headed Professor Yves Chabal, to meet with UT’s President, Dr. Richard C. Benson, and with French students and professors.
He will also celebrate Dallas International School 25th anniversary.
