Appointment booking FOR VISA
The visa section is open to the public on an appointment basis, with no walk-ins allowed.
No appointment will be given at the counter, by e-mail or by phone.
Each applicant (children included) has to appear personally at the Consulate and should have his own appointment.
Applicants arriving late will not be accommodated and must reschedule their appointments.
Minor applicants have to be accompanied by their mother or father or legal guardian at the personal interview.
All applicants should be aware that the processing times are average, and that the processing time of a specific case may vary due to individual circumstances and other special requirements.
We strongly recommend that applicants do not make nonrefundable travel arrangements until they receive the approval for their visa; visa applicants should never assume their application will be automatically approved.
Depending on the work charge, applicants may have to wait longer during peak travel periods and holiday seasons, and are therefore advised to take an appointment as early as possible.
Consider coming to the interview at least 3 weeks before departure but not more than 3 months in advance
Sending documents to the Consulate by fax or email is NOT ALLOWED.
IMPORTANT: When you book your appointment online, please make sure to WRITE DOWN YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER (starting with HOU20… ) appearing in the first pop-up window.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION AND THAT THE CONSULATE WON’T CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT.
IF YOU CANNOT PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION RECEIPT IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. Simply show up on the date and time of your appointment.
If you need to book another appointment for the same person because you made a mistake, you will have to change one piece of information (for example replacing the passport number by 00000) while booking it.

IF YOU CANNOT PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION RECEIPT IT IS NOT A PROBLEM. Simply show up on the date and time of your appointment .
If you are not able to attend, you can cancel your appointment online by clicking on "revoir son rendez-vous" but you DO NOT need to contact us.
Make sure you bring all the required documents otherwise the waiting period will be longer.
